Privacy Policy

Last updated October 27, 2026.

We collect as little as we can. This page lists everything the site does with your data.

Visitor statistics

We count visits with GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics service. It records totals such as page views, referring sites, browser, system, country, language and screen width. By its own privacy policy it does not use cookies or other browser storage, and does not store IP addresses or any tracker ID.

If you join the newsletter we collect your email address. It is stored and used to send email by Brevo. We only use it to send Back of the Sleeve stories and updates. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email holostudiossj@gmail.com to have your address removed.

Videos

Videos do not load from YouTube until you press play or, on desktop, hover over a video preview. They then load from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com), and Google’s privacy policy applies to that playback. Links that open YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or other platforms are covered by those platforms’ own policies.

Your browser

The site stores simple display preferences, such as your chosen layout and whether you closed a sign-up prompt, in your browser’s local storage. These stay on your device.

Hosting

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. As our hosting provider, GitHub may process technical request data such as your IP address under its privacy statement.

Ads and affiliate links

The site currently shows no ads and uses affiliate links, explained on the disclosure page. If that changes we will update this page and the disclosure page first.

Children

This site is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
